This is my first food processor. I love it, though I do agree the parts aren't that great, and the bowl seems a bit cheap. I use it instead of my blender; it's so much faster.
I think it's a great start, and a good intro to what I'd buy in the future. Do any food processors get down to the very bottom of the container? This one doesn't do that.
